IAN Warrington was the first home of eight Radcliffe Athletic Club members who took on the Pennington Flash 5-Mile Trail race.
He finished the event, which is part of the Central Lancs Grand Prix, 27th out of 188 runners in a time of 31mins 53secs.
Vet-60 Sheila Jones was next in, clocking 39:45, followed by Katie Percival (40:23), Vicky Glossop (43:28), Beverley McGrath (V45 – 48:13), Karen Doherty (V40 – 49:16) and Tom West (V75 – 52:57).
Vet-75 Jim Rhodes ran 1:03:37 after he was directed the wrong way on the course.
James Hall finished 54th out of a top-class field of 118 in the traditional Grasmere Guides Race – the highlight of the Grasmere Sports weekend.
He ran a time of 19:24 on the tough, short up-and-down course is steeped in fell-running history.
Alan Brown was pleased with his finishing time of 55:27 in the Bollington 10k, near Macclesfield, which is run on an undulating course and includes a challenging long hill.
Vince Ashton made it two in one day when he competed in the Lancaster parkrun on Saturday morning, clocking 25:46, and then ran the Lancaster 5k in the evening in 23:14.
Rob Lister did the Exeter Parkrun on a fast, flat course alongside the river and got himself a new personal best time with 20:34.
Sarah Rushton also claimed a new personal best times for 5km at the Bolton parkrun, finishing in 29:57. She recently joined the club with the aim of getting under 30 minutes and knocked 22 seconds off her previous PB.
