RADCLIFFE Athletic Club’s Fiona Lynch took to the Yorkshire moors in the challenging 32-mile Haworth Hobble fell race.
The vet-40 runner was third in her age group and 12th woman in a time of 5hrs 11mins after covering Pennine paths and tracks from Haworth over to Calderdale, up Stoodley Pike, and running back via Heptonstall and Crimsworth Dean – a route that climbed 4,400 feet.
Peter Hunter also competed in a long-distance event in West Yorkshire, completing the Spen 20 from Liversedge in 2:38:07.
Eight members ran the tough 9km Roddlesworth Roller at Abbey Village, Chorley, with Dave Rushton first home for the club, 50th out of 217 in a time of 41:12, coming sixth vet-50.
