As we move into the Christmas break it is Queensway Snooker Club that hold a slender lead in the Bury Billiards League.
Just one point behind are Radcliffe Central Snooker Club while the other main contenders Walmersley Con Club A suffered a 4-1 defeat.
There are no more league matches until January 14, but we will be holding a Billiards Exhibition Evening with Gary Rogers and Mark Hirst on Tuesday, January 7 at Walmersley Conservative Club.
The following players have agreed to take part in the Exhibition Evening, Phil Deakin, Derek Hamlett, Graham Brennan and Dale Jones.
