FISHPOOL A have moved within a point of securing the First Division title.

Elton Vale B are now two points clear in second but still have third placed Ramsbottom to play in the last week. Back-to-back wins have lifted Roach off the bottom.

Bury West have secured the Second Division.

Redvales moved into second spot but have to play the two teams either side of them in the next fortnight.

Three of the bottom four all won to leave the relegation battle very much alive.

In Division Three, Elton Youth edged closer to the title and are now four points clear with three to play. The only game in Division Four saw Walshaw Ladies draw level with Triple 8 in second place.

Ainsworth C have now won Division Five after victory against St Mary’s D. With three games to play that result leaves Wren three points clear in second but with both the third and fourth placed teams still to play.

Westbury maintain their 100 per cent record at the top of Division Six.

Behind them Elton Vale E move into joint second ahead of this week’s clash.

Two successive defeats for Clarence Park have left Radcliffe Borough JFC two points clear at the top of Division Seven.

Three of the bottom four won to leave relegation issues still unsettled.

Little Miss XI won Division Eight.

Westdene’s victory against All Saints leaves the two sides tied on 20 points ahead of the final round of matches. The over 60s match will be played at Darcy Lever on Sunday, August 13 at 11am. Practice is on Sunday, August 9 at 6pm and Thursday August 13 at 7pm on Newbank field.
