FINE performances from Phil Mansfield and Lulu Morley and Steve Routledge and Hattie Morley helped Walmer A to a 63-53 victory against Lostock B in Division Two of the BSF Mixed Tennis League in their penultimate fixture of the season.
Mansfield and Lulu triumphed 6-2 before Routledge and Hattie also won, 6-3.
There were also good wins in the men’s for Adam Gooddy and Paul Biggins (6-3, 6-5) and the ladies Lisa Morley and Mandy Winskill (6-5, 6-4) and the Morley sisters, who won 6-5, 6-5.
In Division Three, Walmer B team kept up their good form with a 51-48 win at Bradshaw.
Division Five Walmer C visited Lostock F and, despite battling performances from John Biggins and Ray Tait and Dominic Siddall and Phil Peach, they went down 47-59.
