BURY came from behind twice in a spirited second half display to claim an unlikely point at promotion chasing Brentford.
Nicky Ajose glanced home a Tom Soares cross on 76 minutes to secure the draw, heading in his second goal in as many games since returning to Gigg Lane on loan.
Harry Forrester had opened the scoring for the home side with a well-taken header seven minutes after the break.
But Soares levelled with a thunderous half-volley on 65 minutes, powering past marker Shaleum Logan to slot home a hopeful Carl Regan clearance.
Marcello Trotta put the Bees back into the lead just two minutes later, slotting home the rebound after Trevor Carson could only parry Tom Ademeyi’s strike following a corner.
But Ajose's fine header earned Kevin Blackwell's men a deserved point and made it four matches unbeaten.
