BURY have extended the contracts of Tom Soares and Andrew Tutte to keep the midfielders at the club until the summer of 2017.
Tutte, who signed from Rochdale last January, scored his fourth goal of the season on Saturday to help the Shakers clinch a 1-0 win at home to Hartlepool.
After taking a while to settle in at the JD Stadium, the 24-year-old Liverpudlian has risen in prominence over the past few months with some lung-busting displays at the heart of the Bury midfield.
Soares, aged 28, who was brought to the club by previous manager Kevin Blackwell in November 2012, has also cemented his place in the squad under current boss David Flitcroft.
The former Crystal Palace and Stoke player's flexibility has seen him feature across the midfield and as a wing-back this season, making 24 appearances and scoring two goals during the current campaign.
