DAVID Flitcroft has won a second successive nomination for League Two manager of the month after guiding Bury to four wins out of five matches in March.
Victories against Luton, Mansfield, York and Northampton, conceding just one goal in the process, moved the Shakers up to fourth in the table, within reach of the automatic promotion places.
The only blot on their copy book was a shock 1-0 defeat at home to Oxford United.
That could see Flitcroft miss out yet again, however, after being pipped to the February prize by Portsmouth manager Andy Awford.
Hartlepool boss Ronnie Moore is slight favourite in a tight race this time round after leading one-time basement club Hartlepool on their way out of the relegation zone with four straight wins.
Other nominees include Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, boss of leaders Burton Albion, and Gareth Ainsworth, who helped keep Wycombe Wanderers in the top three after they picked up 14 points from six unbeaten games.
The winners will be announced on Friday.
Despite going on such a good run, no Bury players have been rewarded with nominations for the player of the month prize.
