BURY have been fined £5,000 for an incident that occurred at half time during their 2-1 victory against Shrewsbury Town.
The Shrews also incurred a £4,500 fine and both clubs have been warned about their future conduct.
Both clubs denied the charges but following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing the allegations were upheld.
A statement released by the FA read: “Bury and Shrewsbury Town have been fined £5,000 and £4,500 respectively and warned as to their future conduct after being charged with misconduct.
“It was alleged that at half time of their game on 10 September 2016, both clubs failed to ensure their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
“The charges, which both clubs denied, were found proven following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing.”
