ASPIRING goalkeepers are being invited to a specialised training camp run by former Bury coach Fred Barber.
Top talent from around the North West aged eight to 18 can enrol on the session, which will be held from 9.30am to 4pm at Westhoughton Leisure Centre in Bolton on Wednesday, August 30.
Ex-Bolton Wanderers keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen is due to make a special appearance alongside Barber’s team of coaches including Jonathan Barber (ex-Hartlepool United), Dave Richards, Ben Garratt, Will Jaaskelainen (Crewe).
Barber’s Elite Goalkeeping Academy has helped launch the careers of a number of keepers down the years, including former Bury stopper Riece Charles-Cook, as well as Liverpool's Adam Bogdan, Tomasz Kuszczak, Ali Al-Habsi and Raphael Spiegel.
