Tottington sit in second place, just two points off top spot, after another strong performance against a physical Old Blacks side.
Despite the visiting goalkeeper making a number of fine saves, the home side drew first blood when a move down the right involving Lee Connell was finished off by Richard Woodward.
Totty extended their lead on 40 minutes with a well-finished effort by the impressive Jake Cliffe, but Old Blacks were by no means lying down and reduced the deficit 10 minutes after the restart.
A near post effort from Connell on the hour mark increased Totty’s lead, and the impressive Craig Gladwin sealed the win minutes later after the Blacks goalkeeper spoiled an otherwise superb performance by allowing a cross to slip through his hands.
Tottington entertain league rivals Old Boltonians in the LFA Shield this Saturday, kick off 2pm.
