WALSHAW and Royton played out a thrilling six-goal stalemate on Saturday.
The early stages saw Walshaw boss proceedings but after a couple of missed chances the visitors struck to take the lead.
Prolific marksman Michael Moss dropped his shoulder on the edge of the box, spun and rifled a shot into the top corner.
Walshaw were level 10 minutes later when John Blackley got a rare headed goal from a corner.
The second period saw Royton take the lead straight from the kick off as Moss found space on the edge of the box and rifled home his second.
Walshaw levelled again as a fortunate rebound fell straight to Jack Alderson, who finished neatly.
They then got their noses in front for the first time when a surging run from Dom Slaven saw the ball fired across the box for Lee Bruce to smash home.
But Walshaw conceded a third when a misplaced cross came back off the bar and Moss headed home his hat-trick goal to give both sides a share of the spoils.
