BURY GSOB fell to two away defeats and conceded eight goals in the space of four days in the Lancashire Amateur Premier Division last week.

The Old Boys lost 4-2 at high-flying Tottington United on Wednesday and 4-3 at Howe Bridge on Saturday.

Tenth-placed Bury were 2-0 down inside 10 minutes against their local rivals in mid-week but equalised early in the second half with goals from Spencer Woods and Mike Wilkinson.

However, Tottington scored a penalty 10 minutes from time and added a late fourth goal to secure the win.

The Old Boys suffered their second defeat of the week at Howe Bridge.

Bury struggled to adapt to the 4G pitch and found themselves 1-0 down.

However, Woods and Wilkinson were again on target to give the Old Boys the advantage. The visitors rued a missed penalty and Howe Bridge equalised just before the break.

The visitors were ahead soon after the restart with Woods netting his second, but they immediately conceded again. And Bridge scored the winner after some sloppy Bury defending.
