TOTTINGTON United remain in third place in the Premier Division following a 3-2 victory at Old Mancunians on Saturday.
The visitors fell behind on five minutes but were quickly back on level terms thanks to a well-worked Liam Boswell goal.
The home side continued to press and went ahead again on the half hour mark only for Tottington to again restore parity minutes later through captain Dan Ellis.
The visitors grew stronger in the second period and squandered numerous chances to take the lead before striker Chris Bushby scored the decisive goal for the second time in three games with 15 minutes remaining.
There is an "international" break this weekend for the LALv Humberside league inter-league game.
