WALSHAW'S winless start to the Manchester League Premier Division campaign continued at Adie Moran Park when they lost 6-4 to second-placed Prestwich Heys.

The first half hour saw the visitors dictate proceedings and were good value for their two-goal lead – courtesy of two strikes from striker Mario Daniel.

A Max White free-kick reduced the arrears on 30 minutes and Jon Lyons rifled an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net to level matters three minutes later.

By the break it was 4-2 to the home side with former Walshaw striker Lee Bruce feeding Jamie Baguley who drilled a low shot past the goalkeeper.

The roles were reversed in the 43rd minute as Baguley turned provider to set Bruce free for goal number four.

Within 20 minutes of the restart it was 6-2 following a brace from Greg Wills.

Walshaw responded with two Baz Campbell headers giving the home side a nervy last 15 minutes.
