Radcliffe Borough returned home with a share of the points from their visit to New Mills on Monday night after conceding a goal with the last kick off the game.

Michael McGinlay opened the scoring for Boro after 12 minutes when his speculative cross-shot deceived Collinge in the New Mills goal.

The hosts equalised on 25 minutes when Kyle Parson’s half volley beat Chris Cheetham, hit the post and bounced into the net.

Boro regained the lead early in the second half. Chris Mason latched on to a poor clearance and calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net.

Elliot Rokka thought he had increased Boro’s lead on the hour mark but his effort was ruled out for offside.

Cheetham made a smart save to keep Boro’s lead intact, while at the other end, Mason’s shot was well saved by Collinge and substitute Dave Sherlock also had a chance to wrap the game up for the Boro.

With 90 minutes on the clock New Mills equalised through Danny Douglas-Pringle with a tap in at the far post.

l Radcliffe Borough and Ossett Town shared the points after an uninspiring 1-1 draw at Stainton Park in Evo-Stik Division One North on Saturday.

Danny Lafferty opened the scoring for the Boro inside four minutes but Steven Jeff‘s penalty drew Ossett level before half time.

Ossett’s James Davies was shown a red card for dissent in the second period, and despite plenty of pressure, Boro were unable to find a winner.
