RADCLIFFE Borough climbed one place to fourth bottom of Evo-Stik League Division One as Danny Johnson got his first win as manager.

The Stainton Park men came from a goal behind to beat lower mid-table visitors Burscough 2-1 and jump three points above Prescot Cables who have three games in hand on Radcliffe.

Burscough went ahead when home keeper Chris Cheetham failed to deal with a cross and Eddie Tower bundled the ball over the line.

Sam McMahan headed home the equaliser on the hour after the visiting keeper palmed Lambert’s free kick into his path six yards out.

Boro pressed forward in search of the winning goal and finally broke Burscough's resistance four minutes from time when Elliott Rokka’s cross from the left reached Davies whose header beat the keeper and Steve Foster got the final touch.
