THE Radcliffe FC revolving door has continued to whirl with five more players joining the Neuven revolution.

Manager Jon Macken, who saw his side get a hard-fought 1-0 win at Brighouse Town last Saturday to climb two places to fourth bottom of Evo-Stik North, has now made a full team of signings in the last seven weeks.

And the ex-Manchester City striker, who took over at Boro in September, was full of praise for his players after they earned their second league win in 13 games.

The latest arrivals at Stainton Road are midfielder Matt Russell from Glossop North End, young striker Jordan Bove, physical ex-Chorley striker Louis Myers, another striker in James Daniels from Rylands FC and ex-Bury youth goalkeeper Connor Keane, who has recently been playing in the USA at the Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan.

The all-change approach at the Neuven Stadium is part of the plan set out by Macken after seeing a poor start to his reign in his first job as a manager.

Conscious he wanted to give everyone a chance to show what they could do before he decided where he would be making changes, a run of defeats and poor performances caused him to lose patience and swing the axe.

The win at Brighouse brought glowing praise from the boss who said: “All credit to the lads, it was a great performance from them.

“Everyone gave 100 per cent for the club and it was a fantastic team performance.

“We’ve been working hard in training to improve results and we will now look to build on the performance to push up the league and progress the club.”
