THE reshuffle continues apace at Gigg Lane, with loanees Gregg Wylde and Troy Hewitt returning to their parent clubs Wanderers and QPR, and rumours of a loan deal in the offing for former Shaker Nicky Ajose.

The Peterborough striker scored 13 goals in 28 appearances for Bury in the 2010/11 League Two promotion campaign and would be a welcome addition to Kevin Blackwell’s squad, which has struggled for goals all season.

Wylde’s return to the Reebok after seven appearances and Hewitt’s departure after nearly four months on loan at Gigg Lane has left Blackwell with room for one more loan signing.

He picked up Blackpool centre-back Ashley Eastham until the end of the season yesterday, and already has Leicester striker Tom Hopper and Leeds midfielder Zac Thompson for the duration of the campaign.

The deal for Wolves centre-back Ethan Ebanks-Landell - Blackwell’s fourth of a possible five loan signings he can play at any one time - runs out on February 9, leaving the Bury boss with some room for manoeuvre.

His hand will be helped further by the possible departure of winger Marcus Marshall, who was recalled from a season-long loan spell at Grimsby yesterday and was reportedly in talks with Luton over a permanent move.
