BURY striker Ryan Lowe has sealed a loan move to Crewe until January 6.
The Shakers striker has made just one brief substitute appearance for the Gigg Lane outfit this season after being dogged by injury.
He damaged ankle ligaments in pre-season and then suffered a further setback on his return to the squad after picking up a calf strain.
The 37-year-old front man will now continue his recovery at Gresty Road, where the Merseysider scored 17 goals in 74 appearances in a two-year stint early in his career.
Bury are blessed with a range of attacking options at present, with Leon Clarke, Tom Pope and Danny Rose all weighing in with goals this season, while Leicester City front man Joe Dodoo joined them on loan last Thursday.
Dodoo played a key role in their 1-0 win at home to Burton on his debut and is expected to keep his place for tonight's visit of Scunthorpe United.
