David Flitcroft won the League One manager of the month prize in September
BURY boss David Flitcroft and assistant manager Ben Futcher have left the club with immediate effect.
The Shakers boss had been in charge at Gigg Lane for just under three years, but after failing to win a single match since September - a winless run that stretches back 11 games - he has left his post.
The departure was announced via a statement on the club website, which read: "The board of Bury FC can confirm that David Flitcroft and Ben Futcher have left the club with immediate affect."
A further statement is expected to be released tomorrow.
