CRAIG Jones and Andrew Tutte have signed new deals with Bury, while Paul Caddis is in negotiations over a new contract, the club has confirmed.

Jones has agreed a 12-month extension, just weeks before his current deal was due to run out, while the terms of Tutte's new contract are yet to be announced.

The Shakers have also announced their retained list this morning, with 11 players not offered new contracts.

The biggest names heading for the exit door include Jacob Mellis, Kelvin Etuhu and Hallam Hope, who all had a major part to play last season.

Other players shown the door are Anthony Dudley, Niall Maher, Chris Brown, Paul Rachubka, Rob Lainton, Reece Brown, Jermaine Pennant and Ishmael Miller.

The seven players who finished the campaign on loan at Bury have all returned to their parent clubs – Cameron Burgess (Fulham), Kean Bryan (Manchester City), Tom Walker (Bolton Wanderers), Taylor Moore (Bristol City), Tom Beadling (Sunderland), Sylvain Deslandes (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Joe Murphy (Huddersfield Town).

However, popular goalkeeper Murphy will return to Gigg Lane in July, after helping the Terriers in their Championship play-off bid.

A total of 17 players are currently contracted to Bury for next season, including Jones, Tutte and Murphy.

They are: Nathan Cameron, Callum Styles, Antony Kay, Tom Pope, James Vaughan, Greg Leigh, Leon Barnett, Danny Mayor, Zeli Ismail, Ben Williams, Scott Burgess, Neil Danns, Jack Mackreth and George Miller.

Ryan Lowe will also be retained as a player, but is unlikely to be called upon. His main role next season will be as a development coach.

Chris Brass and Chris Sedgwick have been retained on the first-team coaching staff, but the club revealed that goalkeeping coach Ian Willcock, physio Paul Morgan and chief scout Dave Bayliss will all be leaving the club.

Director Ian Kendall, a former chief executive and head of youth, will step down from the board at the end of the month to begin his retirement.

In the youth ranks, only Tsun Dai has been offered a full-time contract, with second-year scholars Cameron McCulloch, Nathan Turner, Ciaran Best, Will Osgathorpe and Dion Johnston all released.
