Prestwich motorway chaos causing eight-mile tailbacks

A collision on the M60 at Prestwich is causing long motorway queues.

Eight miles of traffic is reported after two lanes were closed.

The delays are affecting drivers clockwise on the M60 motorway between Prestwich, junction 17, and Simister Island.

A lorry and a car have collided and speeds are down to 40mph. It is taking an hour for vehicles to pass.
