Driver’s lucky escape as car overturns
A WOMAN had a lucky escape after a car flipped over on to its roof in Jubilee Way, Bury, on Tuesday morning.
The accident, which happened around 10am, forced police to close the road temporarily, causing severe disruption to traffic. The female occupant of the Daewoo car was checked over by paramedics but is said to have escaped serious injury.
Railings at the scene were also damaged.
