BURY let a two-goal lead slip in the final 10 minutes at the Pirelli Stadium as Gary Rowett’s promotion hopefuls came storming back to almost steal the win.
Adam McGurk found the top corner with a 20-yard shot in the 90th minute, equalising after substitute Michael Symes had headed Burton back in it with seven minutes remaining.
The Shakers looked to be coasting to a valuable three points after Anton Forrester scored his second in successive games with a curling effort on 15 minutes and debutant William Edjenguele headed them two up just before half-time.
