BURY have signed Barnsley full-back Jimmy McNulty on an 18-month deal.
The 28-year-old defender goes straight into the squad to face Burton Albion tomorrow after arriving from Oakwell, where he worked under David Flitcroft in the Championship.
He boasts more than 200 league appearances, including 60 for the Tykes, and has also turned out for Stockport County, Macclesfield Town and Brighton.
In 2009, whilst playing for Brighton, McNulty had his right kidney removed after being accidentally kicked by an opposing player during a game against Crewe.
