I thought you said players like Carroll who are speed merchants would have pace to burn causing oposition defences real problems,so why is he not in the team Mr Flitcroft?.

Why give James Burke an 18 month contract and then never play him?,now we are all worried regarding Nardiello's injury as he is our only regular goalscorer.

I just hope the lack of striking options and the lack of recruiting of them doesn't come back to haunt us.

What a long way to go for a terrible match. However, clean sheet, one point and up the league table we go. This match should have been abandoned based upon the lack of interest from both sides....urghh

Oh well, I am the Boss learned a great deal from this one.

A strange game and even stranger decision by our super duper boss to make a brave choice in replacing The Beast with a little known goalkeeper making his league debut.

Not a coincidence of course that he should happen to play his home town team in front of his family, this musy have been agreed prior to the match by all parties.

So that's 15 draws this season,i'm starting to see a pattern developing here and other teams have gone down this road just to avoid relegation in a new league.

Last season York City were the draw specialists in league 2 and The Scunniebunnies in League 1 the previous season when we were in league 1 in our first season.

I think a lack of goalscoring opportunities is nothing short of disgraceful for the long suffering away fans, the players are pampered with overnight accomodation yet they put this lacklustre display on for the fans.

Our seaon is just simply petering out although we will stay up,now to build for next season although unless there is major surgery in midfield we will be just making up the numbers in league 2.

On another point why does DF sign a player then take him off and why does he sign players who are then left on the bench such as Carroll?.

What's happen to Robbie McEntyre?not featured even as a sub for a wee while.

Yes not getting beat is a better feeling than losing but i want us to get out of this drawing games rut.I accept that perhaps there aren't enough creative players in the side right now to open up teams.

At least the lads are creating some opportunities even if they were few and far between in that bore, snore draw at Roots Hall last Saturday.

In order to win a match both teams have got to really go for it at this level. It's so difficult to break down teams when they are intent on not getting beat and putting two banks of four in front of you.

Their fans should have played hell with their players lack of ambition going forward and poor finishing.

Tonight will be a tough game,The Gulls have already beaten The Fail and i would dearly love it if we could open up a 7 point gap and ease the tension of possible relegation.

They will be nervous and won't want to conceed the first goal or their heads will drop especially given their perilous position so come on lads let's score that opening goal and see how they react.
