BURY have signed defender Eoghan O'Connell from Celtic for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Gigg Lane and becomes Lee Clark's seventh summer signing.
The Shakers beat off competition from fellow League One side Walsall to capture the highly-rated youngster.
The centre-back made 13 appearances while at Celtic Park which included four in the Champions League.
Clark attempted to sign O'Connell while boss of Kilmarnock in January but the defender instead opted for the Saddlers, where he went on to make 17 appearances.
