RUGBY LEAGUE: Fair play to Bury Broncos's under-8s after they win Gus Risman trophy at festival
Bury Broncos Under-8s clinched the Gus Risman trophy at the recent rugby league festival.
Five young players represented the Whitefield-based side at the mini competition organised by Salford Red Devils Foundation.
Teams from Folly Lane, Salford Roosters and Langwothy Reds were cheered on by enthusiastic supporters in a friendly atmosphere that promoted good sportsmanship and Broncos coach Danny Kelly was delighted when the boys were presented with the Fair Play trophy by Adrian Morley.
