RUGBY LEAGUE: Broncos tamed by the mighty Mets

WHITEFIELD-based Bury Broncos came unstuck on home soil against derby rivals Bolton Mets at Philips High School.

The Mets ran out 38-20 winners with some big tackles flying in from the start but the visitors ran away with the game towards the end.

Bury’s try-scorers were Adam Radford (2), Chris Sharkey (2) and two conversions. Anyone interested in playing rugby league, contact Mike Palin on 07834 686374.
