NICKY Adams insists he is improving every time he gets the international call from Wales.
The Shakers winger is on duty for the Under-21s against England in Wrexham tonight, where he hopes to get a chance to take on the likes of Gabby Agbonglahor, Theo Walcott, Tom Huddlestone and Joe Hart.
Though he has been a regular in Bryan Flynn's squad since the start of last season, he has earned just one cap, against France in November.
Swansea starlet Shaun MacDonald has been preferred in the left-wing spot, but the 21-year-old says mixing with players from higher up the Football League pyramid has helped his career considerably.
"There is a lot of quality in the squad, so I have had to be patient. Hopefully I'll get a chance against England," he said.
"A lot of the lads are coming from Premiership or Championship clubs, so just to train and be around them is a good experience.
"I think it has helped my game this season and you have seen the results. I think I can get better as well."
