Emma Bunton will step in as Richard Madeley's TV wife while Judy Finnegan recovers from knee surgery.
On her new role, Bunton, known as Baby Spice in her Spice Girls days, said: "As a fan of the show, it was an honour to be asked to step into Judy's shoes for a few days, co-present the show and keep Richard in line.
"I would also like to wish Judy a speedy recovery."
Before a worldwide reunion tour with the Spice Girls at the beginning of the year, Bunton gave birth to her son Beau last August.
Madeley presented the Channel 4 show alone on Monday, but Bunton will sit alongside him on the famous sofa until next Tuesday, those behind the show said.
