Piven happy Obama likes Entourage

Jeremy Piven proved more excitable than his Entourage character Ari when he discovered Barack Obama was a fan of the show.

At a special premiere in Hollywood to celebrate the boys' return to TV screens with Series Six, Jeremy told reporters he couldn't be happier to find out the president tunes in.

"I think it's incredible that Barack Obama watches our show," he said.

Jeremy explained how it meant all the more to him because of where he grew up, saying: "I'm from Chicago and [Barack's] political life was in Chicago."

It sounds like the US president won't have any reason to be disappointed by the new series.

"This season could be the best yet," Jeremy revealed. "I've had some amazing stuff to do, it's been an incredible ride.

"The storylines, everything that [Ari] set up has kind of unravelled. I have this buddy which I convinced everyone to let be an agent of my agency and he's going to screw everything up to the point where you won't believe what happens."
