Disheartened by council pay review

I AM a Unison member left angry and disheartened by the way Bury Council’s pay review has been handled, when even during the appeals procedure goalposts have been moved without discussion with our union.

IT was positive and refreshing to see the article in last week’s Bury Times regarding the town centre Pubwatch particularly because of the current state of Bury town centre and the large amount of alcohol-fuelled violent disorder and anti-social behaviour which occurs every weekend in the small hours.
