BNP poppy wreath

AS I was not able to attend the commemorative service at the Radcliffe cenotaph, it was only yesterday that I learned that the British National Party (BNP) had been allowed to lay a poppy wreath at the war memorial.

Allowing this to happen is an insult to all the men named on that cenotaph — one of which is my husband. I cannot tell you of the anger and the hurt I felt knowing of this. Two years ago I went to the cenotaph and was not allowed to lay a small wreath of white poppies I had made. This makes the whole thing a complete mockery.
