WE the League of Friends of Bealey Community Hospital would like to say how sorry we were to have to cancel our Garden Party on Saturday, July 17.
We spent the whole morning getting everything ready, but after several very heavy downpours it was decided that we would have to call it off.
Apologies to the people who were coming to help who we were unable to contact. It is only the second time in 17 years that the event has had to be cancelled. So we can assure everyone that we will be back doing everything we can for the patients who are in Bealey Community Hospital.
