PETER ASHWORTH It is with great sadness we announce his sudden passing at home on 30th November 2018 aged 81 years. Former Mayor of Bury, much loved cousin and friend to many. Sorry to hear about the death of Peter Ashworth he was a lovely boy we use to play together from being 10 years old..he was in our (gang)lol. Such a gentleman then...he had another good friend in Gordon Hutchison...we both emigrated to Australia with our families many years ago...but kept in touch with news about Bury through the Bury Times.....so our dear friend Peter it is with sorrow we say goodbye...rest in peace our friend.
