BETTY BIRTWISTLE (Née Rigg) Passed away peacefully at Parklands Lodge Care Home Southport aged 89 years on 1st February 2021. Loving wife to the late Peter, much loved Mum to Jill & Karen, special Granny to Eleanor and formidable Mother in law to Geoff & Phil. Betty will be sadly missed by all family & friends. Betty was Head of Elton Nursery from 1964 and Early Years Education Adviser for Bury 1974 to 1982. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on 22 February at 2.00pm with her close family at Southport Crematorium.
