DORA JONES passed away peacefully at Burrswood Nursing Home on Wednesday 28th January 2009, aged 88 years. Beloved Mother of Trevor and Mother-in-law of Elaine, much loved Grandma of Vincent, Lavina, Scott and Great Grandma of Luke and Lewis. The funeral will take place today Thursday 5th February at Rochdale Crematorium at 1.30 am. Donations if so desired may be made to Macmillan Cancer Care, all enquiries to Linda at Co-Operative Funeral Care, Silver St, Bury, Tel 0161 7644177. We sat beside your bedside, We held your hand with love, We stroked your head with tenderness, And prayed to God above, In tears we saw you leaving us, As you slowly slipped away, Although our hearts were breaking, We knew you could not stay. Your loving Son Trevor and Daughter-in-law Elaine. A thousand words won't bring you back, We know because we tried, Neither will a thousand tears, We know because we cried, One thing that we are sure of, And that's without a doubt, You're so wonderful to think of, And so hard to live without. Love from your Grandchildren Vincent, Wara, Lavina, Justin and Scott. Night, night Grandma JONES, Sleep tight. Lots of love from your Great Grandchildren Luke and Lewis.
