ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (MILLTOWN STREET FOOTBRIDGE (PUBLIC FOOTPATH 8 SM, RADCLD7FE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:-Milltown Street Footbridge (Public Footpath 8sm, Radcliffe). The reason for the proposed order is due to the failure of the bridge superstructure (superstructure partially removed).

that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:-Milltown Street Footbridge (Public Footpath 8sm, Radcliffe). The reason for the proposed order is due to the failure of the bridge superstructure (superstructure partially removed).

The alternative route will be via Rectory Lane, Church Street West, Church Street, Stand Lane and Milltown Street and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation on Thursday 23 January 2020 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months (with the possibility of an extension being required).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (RAWSONS RAKE, RAMSBOTTOM, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Rawsons Rake, Ramsbottom - between Tanners Street and Rake Fold.

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate electrical cabling works.

The alternative route will be via Chapel Lane, Lumb Carr Road, Bolton Road West

and Dundee Lane and vice-versa.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 03 February 2020 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 5 days. Dated 23 January 2020
