ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (AINSWORTH RD, RADCLIFFE) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Ainsworth Rd, Radcliffe - between Robert St & Turks Rd The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route will be via Water St, Bolton Rd, Countess Ln & Turks Rd & vice versa.

The Order comes into operation on 13/02/20 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 4 weeks. It is intended that the works will be undertaken in two sections - Robert St to Lowe St & Lowe St to Turks Rd. Dated 13 February 2020 Council Solicitor

The alternative route will be via Bury and Bolton Road, Starling Road, Cockey Moor Road and Church Street and vice-versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-To temporarily revoke the one way working on Central St and Markland St The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works The Order comes into operation on 13/02/20 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 3 weeks.
