ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) THE BOLTON (PUBLIC FOOTPATH BOLTON 059 & HORWICH 033/034/037/035/030) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (N0.53) ORDER 2021
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, which will be operative from 1st March 2021, which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Bolton 059 & Horwich 033/034/037/035/030.
Public Footpaths Bolton 059 & Horwich 033 commencing from Sheep Cote Green Farm point A at grid reference SD 367384 412844 in a generally south by easterly direction to point B Walker Fold Road at grid reference SD 367610 412334; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Bol059/Hor033/034/037/035/030 over a total distance of approximately 590 metres.
Public Footpath Horwich 034 commencing from Walker Fold Road point B at grid reference SD 367610 4412334 in a generally westerly direction to point C at grid reference SD 367362 412378; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Bol059/Hor033/034/037/035/030 over a total distance of approximately 264 metres.
Public Footpaths Horwich 037, Horwich 035 & Horwich 030 commencing from Walker Fold Road point D at grid reference SD 367608 412256 in a generally west - north westerly direction to point E at grid reference SD 366844 412592; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Bol059/Hor033/034/037/035/030 over a total distance of approximately 874 metres.
Alternative routes will be available via the Woodland Trust. The Order is necessary to facilitate essential tree clearance work and will continue for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
