SECOND EXTENSION TO: THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH
BLACKBURN DARWEN FOOTPATH 1 LIVESEY (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE] ORDER 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred by section 15 (5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has approved of the continuing in force of the Order made on and effective from 29th October 2020. As the works have not been completed The Secretary of State for Transport granted a second extension of the Order until 29th April 2023 or until completion of work, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the
footpath referred to in the Schedule below due to works being carried
out on the line of the right of way. The alternative routes available (if
any) are referred to in the schedule below.
The path will be closed in the interest of public safety.
