THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (CHARLES STREET, BURY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-NO WAITING AT ANY TIME

Charles Street, Bury - west side from a point 14 metres north of the northerly kerbline of Buckley Street to a point 38 metres north of the northerly kerbline of Buckley Street
A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it), a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at the address below during normal office hours.
Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to Highway Network Management, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury or by email to trafficftziburv.gov.uk quoting reference TM2/17/398 by 21 July 2017. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (KAY STREET, SUMMERSEAT) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-

Kay Street, Summerseat - full extent of Kay Street Bridge
The reason for the proposed order is to enable site investigation works to be carried out.
The alternative route will be via Hill Street, Cliff Avenue, Crag Avenue, Rowlands Road, Railway Street and Waterside Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 03 July 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately two weeks.
NB. Closure of Kay Street Bridge to pedestrians will not be in place while Rowlands Road is closed for resurfacing works. Dated 22 June 2017 Acting Council Solicitor
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BASS LANE, SUMMERSEAT) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Bass Lane, Summerseat - between Manchester Road and Crag Lane
The reason for the proposed order is to enable overhead electricity cable works to be
carried out.
The alternative route will be via Manchester Road, Bury New Road, Bridge Street, Bolton Street, Bolton Road West, Longsight Road, Newcombe Road, Railway Street and Rowlands Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Monday 03 July 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to one month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one day.
NB. Closure of Bass Lane to pedestrians will not be in place while Rowlands Road is closed for resurfacing works. Dated 22 June 2017
