ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (PARKHILLS ROAD, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Parkhills Road, Bury - between Manchester Road and Market Street. The reason for the proposed order is to enable resurfacing works to be carried out The alternative route will be via Manchester Road, Wellington Road and Market Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on Saturday 21 April 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 7 weeks (closures will be implemented at weekends ONLY). Dated 19 April 2018 Council Solicitor

A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it), a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury during normal office hours.
