BURY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (KAY STREET BRIDGE, SUMMERSEAT, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles, cycles or horses from proceeding along:-that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles, cycles or horses from proceeding along:-Kay Street Bridge, Summerseat, Bury - bridge over the River Irwell between Waterside Road and Kay Street. The reason for the proposed order is due to the bridge being unfit for access to vehicles, cycles or horses following damage caused by flooding. The alternative route will be via Manchester Road, Bury New Road, Bridge Street, Bolton Street, Bolton Road West and Longsight Road and vice-versa. The Order comes into operation on Monday 21 May 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 18 months.

that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:-Lomax Street Footbridge (Public Footpath lsj, Radcliffe).

The reason for the proposed order is due to the failure of the bridge superstructure (superstructure removed).

that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

The proposed Order will come into operation on Saturday 26-Mav-2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (Anticipated duration of works - 8 Days)

that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Heys Street, Bury - From its junction with Bolton Road to its junction with Brooksmouth (at the entrance to the Royal Mail Sorting Office). The reason for the proposed order is for contractors to carry out Electrical works. The alternative route will be via Bolton Road, Arthur Street and Brooksmouth and vice-versa.
The Order comes into operation on Tuesday 29 May 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 1 week. Dated 17 May 2018 Council Solicitor
