ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (TOMMY LANE, AINSWORTII) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Tommy Lane, Ainsworth - From its junction with Bury Old Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.

The reason for the proposed order is for contractors to carry out manhole cover and repair works.

The alternative route will be via Bury Old Road, Duke Road and Well Street and vice-versa.

The Order comes into operation on Sunday 09 September 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 1 day. Dated 06 September 2018 Council Solicitor

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (PUBLIC FOOTPATH 8, WHITEFHCLD) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State has approved that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury may continue in force until 15 November 2019 the above Order which was made on 14 February 2018 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is as follows:-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State has approved that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury may continue in force until 15 November 2019 the above Order which was made on 14 February 2018 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which is as follows:-

To prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath 8, Whitefield -from the junction with Public Footpath 101, Bury in an easterly direction to the boundary fence of Castlebrook High School playing fields (a distance of approximately 400 metres).

The reason for the extension is to protect the public from ongoing construction/demolition activities taking place on the Castlebrook High School site, until their completion.

The alternative route is via the remainder of Public Footpath 8, Whitefield, Public Footpath 6, Whitefield, Public Footpath 89, Bury, Restricted Byway 85, Bury, Pan-Lane and Public Footpath 101, Bury and vice versa Dated 06 September 2018 Council Solicitor
