FANS of New Wave legends Squeeze are in for a treat at The Met this month as two former band members take to the stage.

Glenn Tilbrook, the first of the band’s founding guitarists and vocalists will play at the venue on March 18.

He will bring a lively solo show featuring old and new song’s from the band’s catalogue, alongside spontaneous interpretations of other classic tracks.

Then Mr Tilbrook’s Squeeze co-founder Christ Difford will perform an evening of spoken word and live music at the venue on March 29.

Hitting the road with the former frontman of The Bible Mark ‘Boo’ Hewerdine as part of a UK-wide tour, Mr Difford will regal the audience with tales of the key events in his life in music, taken from his autobiography Some Fantastic Place.

The duo will also play some of Mr Difford’s biggest hits acoustically, from Cool For Cats to Up The Junction, as well as tracks from the best of album Pants, featuring songs from a stage play written by the pair several years ago.
