A Bolton pub has been named one of the most pooch-friendly in the North West.

The Beer School in Westhoughton was ranked fifth in the DogBuddy Dog-friendly Pub Awards 2018.

The Maltings in Warrington fought off fierce competition from a number of dog-friendly watering holes across the North West, but held on to the top spot after accumulating the most votes. Now in their third year, Europe’s leading online dog sitting platform, DogBuddy.com, introduced the Dog-friendly Pub Awards to recognise pubs across the UK that truly embrace ‘paw power’ and welcome not just two, but four legged customers as well.

Nationally The Dog at Grundisburgh was selected by a panel of judges as the most dog-friendly in the country.
