Wadda show at Albert Halls

The ‘greatest rock and roll band in the world’ Showaddywaddy will be playing a hit-filled set at Albert Halls Bolton on Saturday January 5.

The Leicester six-piece includes original band members Rob Deas on bass guitar, and Romeo Challenger on drums, alongside newer members Rob Hewins, Dean Loach, Andy Pelos, Ray Hatfield, and Billy Norman.

Art Exhibition at Harwood Library

An exhibition by local artist Roland Arthur will be on display at the Gallery - Harwood Library.

The exhibition will feature coloured pencil portraits of people, such as Princess Diana and Anthony Hopkins, and animals, such as cats and dogs.

It will run from Thursday January 3 until the end of the month.

The gallery is on the mezzanine floor and is accessible by a spiral staircase.

Admission is free.

Mixed Martial Arts classes

Mixed Martial artist star Saul Rogers is running children’s classes throughout the week.

The Farnworth-born athlete, who appeared on TV Show Ultimate Fighter will be running classes on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The ‘Tiny Titans’ sessions are for children aged between five and 13 years old.

All classes are taught by professional coaches and MMA fighters.

Classes are at 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 11.30am on Saturday, at the Saul Rogers MMA Academy, at Bolton Textile Mill, in Cawdor Street.

Wedding week at Last Drop

Last Drop Village are opening their hotel doors to showcase their wedding venue.

You will be able to view their bridal and wedding suites, meet the team and discuss your dream day with them.

The event will run all week from Wednesday, and on Sunday, Bolton Wedding Company will also host their Wedding and Prom Show.

Tickets are a £1 donation.

Shift some of the Christmas pounds

If you need to lose some of those Christmas pounds then what better time than the New Year to start.

Slimming World in Lostock are having their new members meetings this week.

If you are already a member this is also the last chance to bring a friend and get a week free.
